If it means you can only be friends, so be it, it’s better than nothing. And you want to share every burden, every happiness and take away all the bad things that have ever happened to them and you wish them all the best and if you could you would give them everything so that they were never sad. And you wouldn’t intentionally hurt them, you want them to be happy and protect them and fight anyone who ever made them feel any less than they deserved. Its like home maintenance, trying to get somewhere and trying to keep a place clean but it doesn't happen because when you finally get it looking beautiful and perfect, a gust of wind comes or some idiot screws it all up.
